Man Shot In Archer Heights

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot Saturday morning in the Archer Heights neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

About 2 a.m., the 40-year-old was in a vehicle headed west in the 5300 block of South Archer when a blue sedan with multiple people inside pulled alongside him, Chicago Police said. One of the people inside the sedan fired shots in his direction and he was struck in the leg.

He took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
