Man Shot During Domestic Fight In North Lawndale

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 33-year-old man was shot in the leg during a domestic fight early Thursday in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

About 12:20 a.m., he got into an argument with the mother of his child in the 1500 block of South Avers Avenue when another male pulled out a gun and shot him once in the right leg, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

No one is in custody for the attack.
