Man Shot Dead In South Loop Parking Lot

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot and killed Tuesday evening in a parking lot in the South Loop.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. near Cullerton Street and Michigan Avenue, police said. The scene is just west of McCormick Place.

The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

No one was in custody late Tuesday.
