Man Shot And Killed In West Pullman

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot to death Sunday morning in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side, according to Chicago Police.

About 5:25 a.m., officers responding to a call of shots fired in the 11700 block of South LaSalle Street found the 31-year-old man inside a car parked in an alley, police said.

He had been shot multiple times and was taken to Roseland Community Hospital, where he later was pronounced dead, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed the fatality Sunday night, but did not release the man's name pending notification of his family.
