Man Shot And Killed In West Englewood

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man died a day after he was shot in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side Tuesday afternoon.

The 19-year-old was in the 5700 block of South Marshfield Avenue about 2:40 p.m. when he was shot in the head, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:32 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

The man has been identified as Antonio Goode, who lived in the same block he was shot, the medical examiner's office said.

According to a police, the man is a documented gang member.
