Man Shot And Killed In Back Of The Yards

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 19-year-old man was shot to death early Wednesday in the Back of Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

Officers called to perform a well-being check at 12:24 a.m. in the 5300 block of South Hermitage found the victim lying unresponsive in the alley, according to Chicago Police.

Armani Dickinson of the 13000 block of South Ellis had suffered a gunshot wound to the back of the head and was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:39 a.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.
