Man Shot And Killed In Back Of The Yards
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot to death Tuesday morning in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
The 35-year-old was shot in the chest at 6:18 a.m. in the 5200 block of South Winchester, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.
He was dead at the scene, police said. The Cook County medical examiner's office could not immediately confirm the fatality.
Additional details were not immediately available as Area Central detectives conduct a homicide investigation.
