Man Shot And Killed In Ashburn
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 24-year-old man was shot to death in the South Side Ashburn neighborhood Wednesday evening.
The man was walking through a gangway at 5:22 p.m. in the 8100 block of South Artesian Avenue when two males approached him and fired shots, striking him several times, police said. He was pronounced dead minutes later at University of Chicago Medical Center, the Cook County medical examiner's office said.
His name was not being released early Thursday because his family had not yet been notified.
