CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 35-year-old man was shot multiple times in the Riverdale neighborhood on the Far South Side Thursday night.

He was standing on a porch in the 13200 block of South Ellis Avenue at 8:55 p.m. when four males got out of a tan car and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, police said.

The four shooters fled in the car to the Bishop Ford freeway (I-94), where they crashed. Police have one suspect in custody.
