Man Seriously Wounded In Lawndale Shooting
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot Friday night in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
At 8:32 p.m., officers responded to a call of a person shot and found a 33-year-old man on the sidewalk in the 1300 block of South Harding, according to Chicago Police. The man was in a confrontation with another person who pulled out a gun and shot him.
He was shot in the abdomen and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.
