Man Seriously Wounded In Austin Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was seriously wounded in a shooting early Monday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 22-year-old man was standing in an alley in the 400 block of North Cicero Avenue at 2:25 a.m. when he "heard shots and felt pain," police said.

He was shot in the right side of the face and the legs and taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.
