Man Seriously Hurt In Princeton Park Shooting

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was seriously wounded in a shooting Saturday morning in the Princeton Park neighborhood on the South Side.

The 28-year-old heard gunfire and was shot in the upper right thigh at 6:21 a.m. in the 9100 block of South Wentworth, according to Chicago Police. Acquaintances drove him to Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park.

He was being transferred to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.
