Man Robs TCF Bank Branch In Calumet City

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man robbed a TCF Bank branch Friday afternoon in south suburban Calumet City.

The branch at 493 Torrence Ave. was robbed at 12:31 p.m., according to the FBI.

The suspect did not show a weapon and no one was injured in the robbery, authorities said.

He is described as a black male, standing between 6-feet-3 and 6-foot-6, with a medium build, the FBI said. The robber was wearing a maroon shirt, a dark floppy hat and dark sunglasses.
