Man Robs Rogers Park Bank

(STMW) -- A man robbed a bank Monday morning in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side.

The suspect walked into the Chase Bank branch at 1791 W. Howard just after 9 a.m. He handed the teller a note demanding cash and implying he had a weapon, according to Chicago Police and the FBI. He ran away after the robbery.

The suspect was described as a black man in his 50s or 60s, between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11, 170-185 pounds with a slender build, according to the FBI. He was wearing a black knit hat, black sunglasses, dark gray coat and blue jeans.
