Man Pulled From Lake Michigan

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A male was pulled from Lake Michigan on the North Side late Thursday.

The male, whose age was not immediately known, was pulled from the water by the Chicago Fire Department in the 5600 block of North Lake Shore Drive about 11:15 p.m., according to police and fire officials.

He was taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital in serious condition, authorities said.

"When he left, he did have a pulse," Battalion Chief Thomas McCormack told reporters at the scene.
