Man Pulled From Burnham Harbor In Critical Condition

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was pulled from Burnham Harbor early Sunday after he fell in the water, police said.

The 20-year-old man was with a group of people when he slipped on ice and fell into the harbor about 2:40 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.

The Chicago Police Marine Unit and assisting officers pulled him from the water, Greer said.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition early Sunday, Greer said.

No citations have been issued in connection with the incident.
