Man Killed In Austin Shooting
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was fatally shot Thursday night in the West Side Austin neighborhood.
About 9:20 p.m., the 54-year-old man was hit in the chest multiple times in the 5600 block of West Chicago Avenue, Chicago Police said. Officers responded to a call of a person shot and discovered the man lying in the street.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office and police.
