Man Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle In Evanston

(CBS) -- A 52-year-old Lincolnwood man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Evanston Saturday morning, according to Evanston police.

The man was crossing the road in the 800 block of Dodge at about 10:23 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle going northbound, police said. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital and later pronounced dead.

Evanston's Major Crash Assistance Team is investigating.
