Man Found Shot To Death In West Pullman

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was found shot to death in a car Wednesday night in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 38-year-old man was found shot in the driver's seat of a car about 10 p.m. after the car crashed into the side of a building in the 100 block of East 127th Street, police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines said.

He had a gunshot wound to the upper back and was pronounced dead at the scene, Gaines said. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed the death but did not provide further details early Thursday.
