Man Fatally Shot In West Pullman

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was fatally shot early Thursday at a gas station in the Far South Side West Pullman neighborhood.

The man, who is in his 20s, was walking in the 11600 block of South Michigan Avenue about 3:15 a.m. when a male approached on foot and fired multiple shots, police said.

The man was shot multiple times in his head and body, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:24 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. His name and exact age were not released Thursday morning.
