Man Dies After Palos Hills Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man died after a motorcycle accident Monday afternoon in southwest suburban Palos Hills.
Authorities responded to the crash on LaGrange Road, or Route 45, near 111th Street at 5:08 p.m., Cook County sheriff's office spokeswoman Sophia Ansari said. A 22-year-old man, identified as Giedrius Lisnicenka, was riding his motorcycle south on LaGrange when it hit the back of a stopped vehicle, authorities said.
Lisnicenka was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead an hour later, the Cook County medical examiner's office said. His home address was not yet known Monday night.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
