Man Dies After Falling On Kedzie Pink Line Tracks

CHICAGO (CBS) —  A man died after he fell onto the Pink Line tracks from the Kedzie platform late Friday night, police said.

The 44-year-old made contact with the 3rd rail when he fell at about 11:25 p.m. and was pronounced dead on scene.

Pink Line service was suspended between Polk and 54th/Cermak as of 12:27 a.m. as Area Four detectives investigated.
