Man Critically Wounded In South Loop Stabbing

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was critically wounded when he was stabbed in the chest during a domestic dispute in the South Loop Sunday evening.

About 7:10 p.m., the 36-year-old man was in an argument with a 32-year-old woman in the 2100 block of South Indiana Avenue, police said.

The woman then produced a knife and stabbed him in the chest, police said.

The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition, police said.

The woman was taken into police custody and the investigation is ongoing.
