Man Critically Wounded In Gresham Shooting

(STMW) -- A Sunday morning shooting that left a man critically wounded in the South Side Gresham neighborhood may have happened during a robbery.

The 57-year-old man was shot in the mouth at 5 a.m. in the 7900 block of South Ashland, police said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was in critical condition, police said.

The man may have been shot during a robbery, according to a source citing preliminary information.
