Man Critically Injured In Brighton Park Motorcycle Crash

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash early Tuesday in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

About 12:15 a.m., the 24-year-old man was driving the bike west in the 4600 block of South Archer when a silver SUV made an illegal U-turn, causing the motorcycle to strike the vehicle, according to Chicago Police.

The motorcyclist was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said. No other injuries were reported.
