Man Charged With Fatal Domestic-Related Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man is charged with shooting another man to death during a domestic-related argument late Friday in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the Far South Side.

After getting into an argument about 10:35 p.m., James Finney, 42, pulled a gun and shot 39-year-old David E. Finney at a home in the 11300 block of South Green, police said. Both men live in that block.

David Finney was shot in the chest and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he later died, authorities said.

Chicago Police could not say whether the men were related.

James Finney is scheduled to appear in bond court Monday, police said.
