Man Attempted To Lure Girl Into SUV On Her Way To School: Police
(STMW) -- Police issued an alert after a man tried luring a 15-year-old girl into his SUV on her way to school early Thursday in the Portage Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
The incident occurred about 8 a.m. in the 5400 block of West Roscoe Street, according to a statement from Chicago Police.
Police said the man drove a white four-door SUV toward the girl and told her to "get in the car."
When the girl looked inside the vehicle, she saw the man moving his hand in a rapid motion near his lower body, the statement said. The girl continued to walk toward her school and said she thought she saw the same vehicle before entering the building.
