Man Arrested For Selling Fake Blackhawks Tickets
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A southwest suburban Bolingbrook man is charged with forgery for allegedly selling fake Blackhawks tickets on Craigslist.
Edgar I. Kim, 29, of Bolingbrook, is charged with one felony count of forgery, the DuPage County Sheriff's office said in a statement.
The victim contacted the seller through a Craigslist ad, and the two met at a business in unincorporated DuPage County to purchase the two tickets, police said.
The buyer did not discover the tickets were fake until going to the game, police said.
Kim is being held in the DuPage County Jail on $10,000 bond, according to the sheriff's office.
