Man Arrested After Threatening Officer's Life On Facebook: Westchester Police

(CBS) – Police in west suburban Westchester say a 27-year-old man has been arrested for threatening the life of an officer on Facebook.

It was all over a $25 parking ticket, says Westchester Police Chief Steve Stelter.

A man got a ticket for parking an oversize truck in a space where it shouldn't have been. Then the man and a Facebook friend started going back and forth on Facebook, he says.

And Stelter says that Facebook friend -- 27-year-old Anthony Miceli -- was so outraged his friend had gotten a ticket when he parked near Miceli's house, Miceli threatened the life of a Westchester police officer.

In his post, Miceli was "talking about shooting a police officer, setting a trap for a police officer, luring him into the back yard and then shooting him," Stelter says.

Miceli is looking at up to five years in prison, if convicted, the chief says.
