Man, 90, Killed In Far South Side Crash

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 90-year-old man was killed in a Far South Side crash Friday afternoon.

Just after 5 p.m., Louis Lacy pulled his vehicle out from a parking lot in the 500 block of East 130th Street and was hit by a vehicle that was going east, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Lacy was taken to MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island, where he died at 7:17 p.m., authorities said. He lived in the first block of West 109th Place.

An autopsy Saturday found Lacy died of multiple injuries in the crash, with heart disease listed as a secondary cause.

The other driver stayed at the scene, police said. No citations were issued.
