Man, 35, Found Shot To Death In Washington Heights

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 35-year-old man was found shot to death in the Washington Heights neighborhood on the South Side Monday night.

About 7 p.m., officers found the man shot several times in the head and chest in the 9200 block of South Aberdeen Street, police said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed the fatal shooting, but did not release the man's name Monday night pending notification of family.
