Male Rescued From Diversey Harbor

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was pulled from the water at Diversey Harbor late Wednesday on the North Side.

About 11 p.m., Chicago Fire Department crews pulled the 37-year-old man from the harbor, according to police.

Responding rescue crews were able to gain access to the docks and pull the person from the water, Chicago Fire Department Chief Ron Dornecker told reporters at the scene.

He was listed in good condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.

A police source said the man may have jumped into the water in a possible suicide attempt.
