Former Loyola Academy Soccer Coach Sues School For $250,000

CHICAGO (CBS)—A former soccer coach from Wilmette's Loyola Academy, who was fired for inappropriate comments, is now suing the school.

Former coach Craig Snower wants Loyola Academy to pay $250,000 dollars after accusing them of libel and slander.

Snower was fired as the varsity girls' soccer coach at Loyola Academy one year ago, amid multiple complaints of "inappropriate or offensive comments" to players. He also was fired as senior girls' director of the FC United soccer club, based in Glenview.

School officials declined to comment on the lawsuit.
