CHICAGO (CBS) -- If you find yourself at a party this weekend, here is some trivia that might be either amusing or offensive, depending on your audience.

A total of 46 percent of men admit to having picked their nose in the past year.

Among women, just more than a third are nose pickers.

How about passing gas around others? Men: 41 percent; women: 30 percent.

Spitting in the street: 35 percent for men and 11 percent for women.

Soup slurping? 22 percent of men and 15 percent of women.

Burb loudly? 28 percent for men and 23 percent for women. (Surprisingly close!)

More women (42 percent) say they have talked to someone while watching a film, compared with only 28 percent.

Women also tend to mutter to themselves more often--43 percent to 36 percent.

A total of 8 percent of those surveyed said they do none of these.

This information comes from a survey of American hygiene done by YouGov, a private research company.
