Man Wounded In Longwood Manor Drive-By Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was wounded in a Longwood Manor neighborhood shooting early Wednesday on the South Side.

The 21-year-old was sitting in a vehicle in the 1000 block of West 97th Street about 12:30 a.m. when a white car drove by and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in both legs and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
