Liverpool May Be Visiting Chicago For International Champions Cup

(CBS) English soccer powerhouse Liverpool may play a game in Chicago this summer, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Tuesday.

The International Champions Cup -- an eight-team tournament featuring Liverpool, Olympiacos, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Roma -- is considering Chicago as one of its venues, and one report over the weekend said Liverpool will face Olympiacos at Soldier Field on July 26, though that isn't yet official, the Sun-Times reported.

That same day, the Chicago Fire are scheduled to host English squad Tottenham in Toyota Park.
