Little Village Residents To Hold Anti-Violence March, Vigil For Murder Of 8-Year-Old Melisa Ortega

CHICAGO (CBS) -- People living in Little Village are holding an anti-violence march Saturday afternoon.

The march will start at 3 p.m. at 26th and Taylor Street. The group will head west, ending at Pulaski.

That's where a vigil will take place honoring 8-year-old Melissa Ortega. She's the innocent bystander who was shot and killed one week ago while walking with her mother.

Two people were arrested, Xavier Guzman, 27, and Emilio Corripio, 16, in connection with her death.
