(CBS) Matt Forte's spectacular Bears career has come to an end, with general manager Ryan Pace informing the running back he won't be re-signed.
Forte leaves the Bears organization second to only Walter Payton in many categories, including total yards and all-purpose yards. He had an outstanding eight seasons in Chicago.
