Mayor Lori Lightfoot In D.C. Wednesday to Secure Funds For Chicago Infrastructure

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Mayor Lori Lightfoot is in Washington D.C. Wednesday to secure infrastructure funds for the city.

She's meeting with White House officials and lawmakers. Among other things, the mayor plans to advocate for Chicago, now that more than a trillion dollars have been allocated for infrastructure.

She'll also attend an event with President Biden to mark World AIDS Day.
