CHICAGO (CBS) -- Officials called seven alarms to a fire in a commercial park in Gurnee on Thursday.
Firefighters responded to 3895 Clearview Court shortly before noon and homes and businesses in the area were evacuated. School buses transported workers from the area.
"It was very, very, very scary," one resident told CBS 2's Sandra Torres.
A propane company, Pinnacle Propane, is listed at that address.

Several explosions were heard in the area and firefighters had the scene under control later Thursday afternoon.

Several roads were closed: Delaney, between Route 41 and Sunset. Northwestern, between Sunset and Granville.
No injuries were reported.
