Large fire destroys garage in Warrenville, Illinois
A garage was destroyed in a fire on Wednesday morning in west suburban Warrenville.
Shortly after 7:30 a.m., the Warrenville Fire Protection District responded to a fire in a single-story detached garage at a home on Tomahawk Drive.
The garage was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
Crews were able to contain the fire to the garage and prevent it from spreading to the nearby house.
No injuries were reported, but the fire caused approximately $100,000 in damage, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation on Wednesday afternoon.
