Lanes Shut Down For Hours On Northbound Bishop Ford Freeway After Truck Spills 19,000 Pounds Of Gravel

SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. (CBS) -- Lanes on the northbound Bishop Ford Freeway were expected to be shut down for two hours Thursday afternoon after a semi-trailer truck spilled 19,000 pounds of gravel.

The spill happened on I-94 north of 159th Street at 3:49 p.m.

Traffic was passing by on the right shoulder and one lane was back open by 6 p.m. Minor injuries were reported.

By 6:25 p.m., all lanes were back open.
