Lamarr Houston Injures Knee While Celebrating With Bears Down 25

(CBS) It's been a challenging first season in Chicago for Bears defensive lineman Lamarr Houston, and it only got uglier Sunday.

In Chicago's embarrassing 51-23 loss at New England, Houston -- who just weeks ago after a loss told fair-weather Bears fans to "eat dirt," drawing the ire of many -- made a fourth-quarter sack with the Bears down 25 points, then injured his right knee, perhaps seriously, in celebrating his accomplishment.

You can watch video of Houston's celebration and injury below. He had to be carted off the field.

After the game, the Tribune's Dan Wiederer reported that Houston said, "I probably shouldn't have celebrated while they were blowing us out. But it happens."
