Kennedy Lanes Reopened After Spilled Bricks Blocked Traffic

CHICAGO (STMW) -- All lanes on the northbound Kennedy Expressway have reopened on the Near West Side after a load of bricks spilled from a semi and scattered across two lanes early Thursday.

The spill occurred about 2 a.m. on the northbound Kennedy near Lake, according to Illinois State Police.

The two right lanes were blocked by debris, but all lanes were reopened to traffic by 4 a.m., state police said.
