Jose Abreu Literally Tore The Cover Off A Foul Ball

(CBS) It's taken a couple days for this to come to everyone's attention, but White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu hit a foul ball so hard during the first inning of Tuesday's game against the Rockies that it literally tore the cover off the ball, according to USA Today.

The 6-foot-3, 255-pound Abreu hit his first two MLB home runs in Tuesday's win. For the season, he's batting .278 with two homers, 11 RBIs and a .955 OPS in nine games.
