(CBS) Free agent left-hander Jon Lester is expected to make a decision perhaps Monday night and sometime Tuesday at the latest, according to 670 The Score's Bruce Levine and other reports.

Lester has received serious interest from the Cubs, Giants and Red Sox, and the Dodgers have been involved as well.

It was initially reported that the Cubs had made an offer of six years to Lester worth around $138 million, with a recent report from CBSSports.com MLB insider Jon Heyman saying that number could now be $140 million or more. Lester has a career 3.58 ERA and 116-67 record in nine seasons, the first eight-and-a-half of which were spent with the Red Sox.
