John Fox: No Setback For Bears' Zach Miller In Return From Concussion

(CBS) Bears tight end Zach Miller finally made his return to the practice field Saturday at Halas Hall, so his absence on Tuesday in New England led to concerns.

After missing nearly two weeks with a concussion, Miller was active Saturday then missed Tuesday as he met with doctors, Bears coach John Fox said. His status will be monitored.

"We keep evaluating, keep looking and trying to make sure we cure all symptoms," Fox told reporters in New England.

"He's still coming off the concussion protocol. We sent him to the doctor today. That's why he wasn't out here early. They were stuck in traffic."

The Bears did get the return of receiver Eddie Royal from his concussion. Linebacker Danny Trevathan was given an off day from practice, while Fox also revealed that cornerback Bryce Callahan is day-to-day with a "muscle strain."

Miller's health is the main focus for the Bears.

"No setbacks, no new prognosis," Fox said. "When they're ready to come out, they'll come out."
