Joe Maddon's Leap Day Celebration Included Throwback To '70s, Arizona-Themed Van
(CBS) Was there any doubt Cubs manager Joe Maddon would come up with a goofy way to celebrate Leap Day?
No, no there wasn't. On Monday as we traversed the extra day on the calendar, Maddon showed up to Cubs spring training in a 1970s Arizona-themed van while sporting a tie-dye T-shirt and headband. There was also reportedly some signing to Eath, Wind and Fire tunes.
