Jermon Bushrod Hopeful That He'll Return Against Dolphins

(CBS) Bears left tackle Jermon Bushrod told the Mully and Hanley Show on Monday morning that he's hopeful that he can play next week against the Dolphins at Soldier Field. Bushrod has missed the past two games with injuries to his knee and ankle.

"I'm doing everything I can," Bushrod said. "I'm doing everything I can, and hopefully over the next couple of days, we'll have a better gauge to see where I'm at. But I'm excited about the opportunity."

In Bushrod's absence, the Bears allowed three sacks Sunday against the Falcons. The versatile Michael Ola played left tackle with Bushrod out.

You can listen to Bushrod's full interview below, as he also addresses the solid play of Willie Young and the Bears offense.
