Jefferson Park Transit Center To Get Facelift

CHICAGO (CBS) -- An aging CTA terminal will soon be getting a facelift. The Jefferson Park Transit Center, built almost 50 years ago, will be modernized, upgraded, and fixed.

A drawing was released of what it will look like when work is complete.

The center will be getting new cameras, new lighting, and new canopies. The tracks and platforms will also be repaired.

Work is expected to be complete by next summer.
